Shawn Received All Kids Need Music’s First 52 Weeks of Music Lessons and a Musical Instrument
An extraordinary 15-year old boy named Shawn, currently in the care of the Arizona Department of Child Safety, begins his life long journey of learning to play the musical instrument of his choice. Shawn currently lives in a foster care group home, and his parental rights are severed, making him an orphan in state care. His greatest wish is to be adopted..
Shawn is a kind, helpful, caring, intelligent, funny, determined, and polite young man that will benefit significantly from online music lessons. A great deal of research identifies the wonderful benefits of learning to play a musical instrument, including improvement of educational outcomes, increased happiness, and decreased stress.
