I hope you realize that your compassionate generosity is truly changing U.S. orphans’ lives. I’m not just saying that. It is so true. Not only are you providing the gift of healing through therapeutic music, you are proving to these vulnerable, hurting children that they are not forgotten, and that there are people who want to help them succeed.
While we can’t share all of the details of their lives, I can tell you with absolute certainty that in EVERY instance where abused orphans are receiving therapeutic music lessons with a caring, consistent instructor and mentor, the children are making very positive steps forward emotionally, academically, and socially. You aren’t just giving access to a musical instrument and music lessons. What you are really providing is the safe place for each student to process trauma, call something their own, and have a stable, caring adult relationship that doesn’t go away when they have to change group homes.
